Ingredients

• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 3 pieces sliced onions
• 1 cup white wine
• 2 tsp kosher salt
• 2 tsp herbes de Provence
• 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
• 8 cloves chopped garlic
• 1 lb spaghetti
• 2 cups HOT beef broth
• 2 cups additional HOT water
• 8 ounces cubed Swiss cheese or gruyere
• 2 tbsp butter
• 1 head chopped parsley
