• 2 cups finely grated zucchini (firmly packed it in) *I used a food processor and did not drain or dry the zucchini
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
• 2 eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 2/3 cup all purpose flour
• 1 cup cocoa powder
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup of chocolate chips and/or nuts
