Sugar Fairy Shortbread Bites | The Fancy Pants Kitchen

Ingredients

• 1 cup very soft butter
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 tsp almond extract
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract.
• a few drops of pink or red food coloring (I use liquid food coloring), optional
• 2 & 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/4 tsp kosher salt
• 3 tbsp multi-colored nonpareils
• 3 cups powdered sugar
• 6 tbsp half & half (maybe more)
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/8 tsp almond extract
