- 10 ml (2 tsp) maple syrup (preferably dark syrup for its robust flavour)
- 90 ml (3 oz) tomato juice
- 15 ml (1/2 oz) fresh lime juice
- Tabasco sauce (to taste)
- Freshly ground pepper (to garnish)
