Lemon Pie - Homemade Lemon Pie

Ingredients

• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 9-inch pie crust*
• 1 egg
• Juice of 1 lemon
• 1 teaspoon lemon extract
• 2 heaping tablespoons all-purpose flour
• 2 tablespoons butter (original recipe says “walnut size”)
• 1 ½ cups boiling water
