Irish Pea Soup - Fischer's

Ingredients

• 2 strips Fischer's Bacon , cooked and crumbled
• 1/2 cup ham, diced
• 1 potato, diced
• 1 cup split peas
• 1 onion, diced
• 1 carrot, chopped
• 1 stalk of celery, chopped
• 1-1/2 cup chicken stock
• 1/2 cup half and half
• 1 sprig fresh thyme
• 1 bay leaf
• salt and pepper to taste
