Turkey stuffing with cornbread, sausage, apples & pecans | Something New For Dinner

Ingredients

• 12 T unsalted butter
• 2.5 cups chopped onion
• 3 green apples, cored and chunked but not peeled
• 1 pound sweet Italian sausage
• 3 cups cornbread, cut into 1/2″ pieces
• 3 cups whole wheat bread, cut into 1/2″ pieces
• 3 cups sourdough bread, cut in to 1/2″ pieces
• 2 t dried thyme
• 1 t sage
• Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
• 1/2 cup Italian parsley
• 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
