• ½ teaspoon grated orange peel (optional)
• ¼ cup flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 Tablespoons butter
• 2 ¼ cups all-purpose, unsifted flour
• 1 Tablespoon sugar
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ½ cup (1 stick) cold butter
• ¼ cup cold vegetable shortening
• 6-7 Tablespoons ice water
• 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
