These garlic chicken bites are essentially a savory chicken nugget bite, like a Thai take on Japanese karaage.

- ¼ cup garlic, finely chopped
- ¼ cup oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons Thai seasoning sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
- Neutral oil, such as sunflower, for frying (about 6 cups)
- ¼ cup sugar

- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
