French Onion Steak - Kikkoman Food Services

Ingredients

• 3 cups Au Jus Sauce (recipe below) or beef broth
• 1 1/2 cups Kikkoman Less Sodium Soy Sauce
• 24 New York strip steaks (10 to 12 ounces each)
• salt and black pepper, as needed
• 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
• 6 cups caramelized onions (recipe follows)
• 1 pound, 14 ounces Gruyère cheese, thinly sliced
• 1 1/2 cups chopped fresh chives
