Quiche

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 3 oz cream cheese
• 1 stick cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
• Pinch of salt

• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 1/2 cup half and half or comb. milk/cream
• 1/4 tsp nutmeg
• 1 cup shredded Gruyère or other Swiss-type cheese (3 ounces)
• Salt and freshly ground pepper

• 2 Tbs unsalted butter
• 8 oz white mushrooms, sliced 1/4 inch thick
• 1/2 cup diced onion
• 3 oz ham

• 8 strips bacon
• 1 onion, thinly sliced
