Stained-glass Ginger Biscuits recipe - The Great British Bake Off
So simple to make, these pretty ginger biscuits are good for parties and party bags. Here, we’ve made stained-glass stars, but any shape within a shape could work.
Ingredients
- 120g butter
- 80g caster sugar
- 80g light muscovado sugar
- pinch of salt
- 225g plain flour
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 egg, beaten
- fruit-flavoured boiled sweets, crushed
- 225g icing sugar, sifted
- 1 egg white
