Fish Biryani recipe by Taskeen Jamal Karim

Ingredients

• 1 kg fish
• ½ cup Masoor (Back lentils) - wash and boil
• 3 medium onions - finely sliced and fried until golden and crisp
• 3 tablespoons tomato puree
• 1 cup yoghurt
• 4 cups rice and 4 teaspoon salt boiled together
• 4 green chillies
• ½ teaspoon arad (Turmeric)
• ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
• 4 Elachi (cardomom)
• a few cinnamon sticks a few whole peppercorns
• 3 medium potatoes - cut and fried
• 4 boiled eggs
• fresh dhanis - finely chopped
• 2 tablespoons coriander
• 2 tablespoons crushed cumin
• 2 tablespoons garlic
• 6 green chillies
