• 3 large eggs
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup plus 3 tablespoons light corn syrup
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1 tablespoon dark molasses
• 1-1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract (or 1-1/2 tablespoons bourbon)
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup browned butter
• 3/4 cup chopped pecans, 1/4 cup whole pecans
• One 9-inch piecrust, unbaked
• 1 cup heavy cream, whipped (optional; and, optionally, flavored with more bourbon)
