Meatball Appetizers

Ingredients

• 400 gr minced lamb
• 130 gr Milcobel Mozzarella (Single loaf Block)
• 1 shallot or small sweet onion finely chopped
• 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger
• 3 cloves of pressed or minced garlic
• 2 tbsp light soy sauce
• 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
• 2 tbsp dry sherry or Shaoxing rice wine
• 2 tsp palm sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
• 2 tbsp chopped Thai basil
• 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander (cilantro)
• 150 coarsely chopped water chestnuts
• 1 tsp five-spice powder ( cinnamon, galangal, fennel, star anise seed, black cardamom) Or any other of your favourite spices for lamb meat such as Cumin, black pepper, cayenne etc…
