Tuna Casserole - Rothliving

Ingredients

• 2 cups of egg noodles or pasta of your choice
• 2 Tablespoons of unsalted butter
• 1 small onion, finely diced
• 1 stalk of celery, finely diced
• 1 cup of button mushrooms, sliced
• 2 cloves of garlic, minced
• 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
• 1 cup of chicken or vegetable broth
• 2 cups of whole milk
• 1/2 cup of heavy cream
• 2 5-ounce cans of high-quality tuna, drained
• 1 cup of sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
• 1 cup of frozen peas
• 1 Tablespoon of dijon mustard
• 1 teaspoon of worcestershire sauce
• 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon of salt, adjusted to taste
• 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
• 1/2 cup of Panko breadcrumbs
• 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, grated
• 2 Tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped, optional
