California Caramel Apple Hand Pies - California Grown

Ingredients

• 2 14 oz boxes refrigerated double crust pie dough
• 2 California Golden Delicious apples (or Granny Smith, diced small)
• 8 soft caramels (cut into small cubes)
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 2 TBSP flour
• 1/4 cup chopped pecans
• 2 TBSP sanding sugar
• 2 eggs (whisked. You can add a little water if needed to thin. (This is the egg wash))
