• 1 cup buttermilk (or substitute with milk and lemon juice/vinegar)
• 1 good quality bar of dark chocolate
• 1/3 cup water
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 1/2 cups granulated white sugar
• 3 egg yolks (for cream filling)
• 1 cup evaporated milk
• 1 cup granulated sugar (for cream filling)
• 1 cup shredded coconut
• 1 cup chopped pecans
• 1 splash vanilla
