Orange Madiera Cake recipe by Sumayah

Ingredients

• 125 g butter
• 1 cup castor sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 teaspoon orange essence
• ¼ cup fresh orange juice
• 2 cups flour
• 2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 cup milk
• 1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
• 2. Beat in the eggs and essences.
• 3. Add the orange juice.
• 4. Sift the flour and baking powder together and mix into the creamed mixture, alternaltely with the milk.
• 5. Pour into a greased bundt pan and bake at 180degrees for 35 minutes.
• ½ cup icing sugar
• 2 teaspoon fresh orange juice
