Simple Meat Sauce - A Duck's Oven

Ingredients

• 1 lb ground beef (90/10 fat ratio)
• ½ lb Italian sausage (hot if you want the heat!)
• ½ yellow onion (diced)
• 1 tsp minced garlic
• 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
• 1 15 oz can diced tomatoes
• 1 6 oz can tomato paste
• 2 tsp dried Italian herbs
• 1/4 tsp salt
• ¼ tsp black pepper
• ½ tsp cayenne pepper
