Ingredients

• 1 pound of steak
• Several beef bones or parts (or Swanson's beef broth)
• 1 medium sized yellow onion, finely diced
• 2 medium sized beets, diced
• 1 large carrot - sliced into disks
• 2 or 3 medium sized potatoes, diced
• 2 bay leaves
• 1 teaspoon of black pepper and salt
• 1 tablespoon of Italian seasonings
• Half head of cabbage, thinly sliced
• Sour cream
