Fresh Tomato & Sausage Soup - Cantella's

Ingredients

• 4 cups of chicken broth
• 4 cups of fresh, ripe tomatoes (peeled, seeded and chopped)
• 1 cup of celery (finely chopped)
• 1 small cauliflower (chopped)
• 1/2 cup of carrots (grated)
• 1 1/2 cups of onion (chopped)
• 1 bay leaf
• 1/8 cup of fresh basil leaves (chopped)
• 2 teaspoons of sugar
• 1 teaspoon of salt
• 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
• 1 tablespoon of olive oil
• 1 tablespoon of butter
• 8 ounces of heavy cream
• Sour cream
• A few fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
