Our bold, hot honey rub, Morning Buzz is sweet, spicy, and surprisingly herby, giving a new take on the Southern classic Chicken and Waffles.
Ingredients
- 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs, halved
- 6 tablespoons Morning Buzz
- ½ cup buttermilk
- ⅓ cup pickle juice
- ⅓ stick of butter
- ¼ cup of your favorite red hot sauce
- ½  - 1 cup honey, as desired
- 1 box waffle mix, and any ingredients called for on box
- 1 cup white cheddar cheese
- 2 cups flour
- ½ cup cornstarch
- Oil, for frying
- Pickles, for topping, optional
- Chopped chives, for topping
