Super Versatile Tomato Sauce
It doesn't get simpler than this, a super easy, very tasty and versatile tomato based pasta sauce.
Ingredients
- 800g of diced tomatoes
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- 3-4 garlic cloves chopped
- 1tbs manuka honey (sugar is an alternative)
- 1tbs tomato paste
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 3 bay leaves
- ½ cup of chopped parsley
- ½ cup of white wine
- salt & pepper to season
- olive oil and/or butter
