Ingredients

• Crust 2-2/3 cups all purpose flour
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 cup Crisco shortening
• 1 tsp sugar
• 7-8 Tbls cold water plus 2 tsp vinegar
• Filling 8 €“ 10 Granny Smith apples, peeled and chopped
• 1 large lemon, sliced & seeded.
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• ¼ tsp salt
• ½ cup packed brown sugar
• 3 Tbsp butter
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
