- 4 cups (1 lb) walnuts, finely ground
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 1/4 cups (2 1/2 sticks) butter, melted
- 1 (16-oz) pkg. frozen phyllo dough, thawed according to package directions
- HONEY-LEMON SAUCE
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 inches cinnamon stick
- 1 cup water
