• 7 ounces potatoes
• 4 1/4 cups hot chicken or vegetable broth
• 2 heads broccoli
• 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
• 2/3 to 1 1/3 cups blue cheese
• pinch freshly grated nutmeg
• 3 tablespoons light or heavy cream (optional)
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper
• 6 tablespoons slivered almonds
