• 2 cups whole milk
• 1⁄2 vanilla bean, split lengthwise and seeds scraped

• 2 whole eggs plus 2 egg yolks
• 2 cups blackberries, plus halved berries to garnish
• 3⁄4 cup heavy cream
• 3 tbsp. confectioners' sugar
