• 1 3/8 cups chantenay carrots trimmed and halved
• 1 9/16 cups chestnut mushrooms wiped and quartered
• 7/8 cup beef deposit
• 1 tablespoon plain flour
• 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
• 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
• 1 bay leaf
• 3 thyme sprigs leaves stripped and chopped
• parsley to garnish, optional
