Slow Cooker Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

• 1 medium carrot (chopped (about 1 cup))
• 1 stalk celery (diced)
• 3/4 cup beef broth
• 3/4 cup yellow onion (chopped)
• 2 cloves garlic (minced)
• 1 tablespoon dried oregano
• 1 teaspoon honey ((add a little more if you like it sweeter))
• 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1 pound lean ground sirloin beef ((93/7))
• 15 ounces crushed tomatoes
• 2 bay leaves
• 2 tablespoons tomato paste
• to taste salt
• to taste freshly ground black pepper
