Sardines with Misua
Delicious and budget-friendly dish made with Sardines in tomato sauce, misua (thin flour noodles), chayote and green onions. A quick and easy dish that can be served with hot steamed rice.
Ingredients
- 2 cans (5.5 oz each) sardines in tomato sauce (I used Hot/Spicy flavor)
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 medium sayote / chayote, peeled and sliced diagonally into 1/4 - 1/2"
- 2 cups water
- 1 bundle, 2 oz misua (thin flour noodles)
- green onions, chopped
- fish sauce or salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp cooking oil for sauteing
