• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon (ground)
• 1/4 teaspoon allspice (ground)
• 1/4 teaspoon cloves (ground)
• 1/2 cup butter (softened)
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1 tablespoon sherry (or brandy or 1 teaspoon sherry or brandy extract)
