Ingredients

• 6 lbs. pickling cucumbers
• 2 large onions
• 2 cloves garlic
• 1 red bell pepper, diced
• ½ cup canning or pickling salt
• 4 cups white vinegar
• 4 cups sugar
• 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
• 1 ½ Tbsp. celery seed
• 1 Tbsp. pickling spice
• 1 tsp. turmeric
• 7 pint glass preserving jars with lids and bands
