• Knob of butter
• 2 tbsps vegetable oil
• 2 chopped onion
• 4 fresh tomatoes, quartered
• 4 medium sized potatoes, thinly sliced

• 1 tsp cround cumin
• 1 tsp chili powder
• 2 finely chopped cloves of garlic
• 1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
• 1/4 tsp ground fennel
• 1/2 pint strong chicken stock
