• 6 tablespoons shortening, chilled
• 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled and coarsely chopped
• 1 large egg
• 1/2 cup plain yogurt
• 1 tablespoon milk
• 1 egg, lightly beaten
• 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar
• 1/4 cup sliced almonds
