• 6 tbsp. cold butter, cut into sm. pieces, 3/4 stick

• 1/2 cup sour cream
• 2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded , 3/4 pound
• 6 green onions, white part and 1 inch green tops, thinly sliced, 3/4 cup
• 1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
• Salt, optional, and freshly ground black pepper to taste
• 1 md. zucchini, trimmed and thinly sliced, 1 1/2 cups
• 1 (3 oz.) can French fried onions
