- 15 ml (1 tablespoon) maple syrup (preferably amber syrup for its rich flavour)
- 1 egg white
- 45 ml (1 1/2 oz) reposado tequila
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) maple syrup
- 20 ml (4 tablespoons) freshly squeezed lime juice
- 30 ml (2 tablespoons) apple butter
- A few ice cubes
- 1 red apple slice for garnish
