- 1/2 cup white stone ground cornmeal
- mix:

- 2 teaspoons salt ,(I would add later it inhibits yeast)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 cup shortening
- yeast:
- 1 package (1/4 ounces) yeast
- 1/4 cup water ,warm
- flour:
- 6 1/2 cup bread flour
