Maple Apple Wild Rice Meatballs

Ingredients

• 1# ground beef
• 1# ground pork
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 large red onion, finely chopped
• 1/4 cup of chopped fine green apples
• 3 cups of cooked Dry Roasted Wild Rice
• 4 tablespoons of Chieftain's Maple Apple Seasoning
• 1 apple, chopped
• 3 medium eggs
• 2/3 cup white wine
• 1 1/3 cup chicken stock
• salt and pepper
