- 225g (1 cup) firmly packed brown sugar
- 60ml (1/4 cup) sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 150g (1-¼ cup) plain flour
- 75g (2/3 cup) self-raising flour
- 40g (¼ cup) cocoa powder
- 225g (1¼ cup) chopped dark chocolate
- 120g (1 cup) chopped walnuts, plus extra to garnish
- 100g (2/3 cup) chopped dates
- 1 cup whipped cream, for serving
- Dark chocolate ganache
- 150g dark chocolate, broken up
- 125ml (½ cup) thickened cream
