Ingredients

• 2 cups rice
• 2 tbsp vegetable oil
• 4 small onions (sliced)
• 1/2 cup dried prawns (soak, drain and pound coarsely)
• 4 pieces Chinese mushrooms (minced)
• 1 cup yam (cut into small cubes)
• 1/2 cup water
• 2 tsp light soy sauce
• salt and pepper to taste
