• 2 Tbsp shortening
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• ½ tsp kosher salt
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 1 large Gelson’s egg
• ½ tsp vanilla extract
• ⅓ cup molasses
• 3 cups powdered sugar, sifted
• 4 Tbsp unsalted butter, softened
• 3 Tbsp whole milk
• Pinch kosher salt
