Glögg - Peter's Yard
Glögg is a Swedish version of mulled wine, traditionally enjoyed around Christmas. This recipe is Peter's favourite. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 5 green cardamom pods, slightly crushed
- 2 cloves
- 3cm piece of cinnamon stick
- 1 teaspoon dried orange peel
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 75ml Madeira or port
- 1 bottle good-quality red wine such as burgundy
