Sausage and Apple Mac & Cheese - GoGo squeeZ®
Sausage and apple jazz up the usual mac & cheese, you’ll be glad you tried it! If you like it spicy try using hot Italian sausage.
Ingredients
- 2 pouches GoGo squeeZ ® Apple Apple fruit sauce
- 2 cups dry elbow macaroni, or your favourite noodles
- 2 cups low fat 1% milk
- Pinch of nutmeg
- Pinch of ground cloves
- 225g mild Italian sausage, casings removed
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 ¼ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
