• ¼ teaspoon salt
• ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 (12-oz) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips, best quality, such as Ghirardelli
• Cinnamon and confectioners’ sugar, (for dusting (optional))
