Layers of flaky filo, mixed nuts and crunchy apples, all drenched in a sweet orange syrup.
Ingredients
- 120 g nuts (we use pistachios, almonds and pecans)
- 1 tablespoon caster sugar
- 3 Pink Lady apples
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 orange
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 6 sheets of vegan filo pastry
- olive oil, for brushing
- vegan vanilla ice cream (optional)
