Ingredients

• 8 cups (2 L) cabbage sliced, about 3/8 inch (1 cm) wide
• 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) vegetable oil
• 1 medium onion, finely chopped
• 2 clove garlic, minced
• 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) milk
• 1/2 cup (125 mL) chicken stock
• 1/2 cup (125 mL) parmesan cheese grated
• 3/4 lb (375 g) cooked ham, cut into thin strips
• 1/2 cup (125 mL) dry breadcrumbs
• 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) butter, melted
