Ingredients: Half a box of lasagna noodles; 2 T olive oil; 1 cup marinara sauce (homemade if possible); 1 lb. ground Italian sausage; 1 large onion, diced; 5 baby bella mushrooms, diced; 1 large clove of garlic, minced; 3/4 t salt; 1/2 t pepper; 1 bottle of dark beer; 3 red, yellow or orange bell peppers, roasted and cut into strips *see roasting instructions below; 10 oz. mozzarella cheese, shredded; 1 egg; 3/4 cup parmesan reggiano cheese, grated; 2 1/2 T butter; 1/4 cup flour; 2 1/2 cups whole milk, warmed; 1/2 t salt; sprinkling of pepper; 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce (homemade if possible)
