Ingredients

• One recipe double pie crust
• 3 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
• 3 cups fresh rhubarb, skinned and cut into ½-inch pieces
• ¾ cup granulated sugar
• 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
• 2 teaspoons lemon juice
• ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
• 3 – 4 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
