Beef stroganoff with potato and carrot mash - great for kids!
We've smuggled some carrots into the mash and swapped the double cream for 8% single cream. But the stroganoff is still delicious!
Ingredients
- 500 grams potatoes
- 300 grams carrots*
- 1 onion
- 1 red bell pepper
- 250 grams mushrooms
- 100 grams diced bacon
- 2 tsp paprika
- 600 grams beef strips
- 70 grams tomato purée
- 600 ml water
- 1 cube beef stock
- 50 grams butter
- 100 ml milk
- 200 ml single cream
- salt
- pepper
